1. General Provisions

  1. The "Extended Warranty" is an optional additional service that can be ordered together with selected auto parts.
  2. The extended warranty is available to both business customers and individual consumers.
  3. Under applicable law, the customer is entitled to a statutory warranty of:
    • 1 year for legal entities or self-employed individuals (business customers),
    • 2 years for non-business individuals (consumers).
    By purchasing the Extended Warranty service, this period is extended by 1 additional year, resulting in:
    • a total of 2 years for business customers,
    • a total of 3 years for consumers.
  4. This service effectively extends the statutory warranty by one (1) year.

2. Coverage

  1. The extended warranty covers manufacturing defects that appear after the expiration of the statutory warranty.
  2. The legitimacy of a claim will be assessed based on expert evaluation after the product is returned for inspection.

3. Limitations and Exclusions

  1. The extended warranty does not cover:
    • mechanical damage,
    • theft,
    • damage caused by misuse,
    • defects caused by non-professional installation outside of an authorized service center,
    • damage caused by natural disasters or force majeure,
    • consumables and components with reduced statutory warranty (e.g., batteries, filters, brake pads).

4. Activation Conditions

  1. The service must be ordered at the same time as the product, during the first step of the shopping cart process.
  2. The service is activated upon payment of the order.
  3. It is recommended to retain proof of payment as confirmation of service activation.

5. Claim Procedure

  1. Claims can be submitted via email to: [email protected].
  2. After confirmation, the customer will be asked to return the defective part for expert evaluation.
  3. The following documents are required for a claim:
    • Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt),
    • Confirmation of professional installation and diagnosis from an authorized service center,
    • Photographic documentation of the defect, if available.
  4. The maximum time limit for claim resolution is 40 calendar days; however, it is usually handled within 30 days.

6. Compensation Options

  1. Compensation under the extended warranty will be provided in one of the following ways:
    • Repair of the defective product,
    • Replacement with a new product, if repair is not possible,
    • Full refund, if neither repair nor replacement is possible.
  2. For VAT-registered customers, any refund will be issued in the amount of the product’s net purchase price (excluding VAT).

7. Non-Transferability

  1. The extended warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser.
  2. The entitlement to the extended warranty expires if ownership of the part is transferred, including through resale or sale of the vehicle in which the part was installed.

8. Termination of the Service

  1. The extended warranty shall terminate upon:
    • expiration of the agreed warranty period,
    • loss or theft of the insured product,
    • provision of compensation (repair, replacement, or refund),
    • unauthorized interference with the product,
    • non-compliance with the conditions of professional installation.

9. Important Notice

To maintain entitlement to the extended warranty, the customer must present a service report or confirmation of professional installation from an authorized service center.
