ASE40535002000 High voltage test module VAS 6558B

The VAS 6558B is used for taking measurements on modern vehicles with electric/hybrid drives.

Functions:
- Initialisation/self-test
- Measuring the DC voltage (absence of operating voltage)
- Measuring the insulation resistance (calculating the insulation resistance using current and voltage measurements)
- Measuring the insulation resistance in line with SAE J1766 (measurement under load with parallel resistor)
- Measuring the electric resistance
– Diode measurements
– Potential equalisation measurements

Characteristics:
- Parameter configuration using adjustable test voltage: 250–1000 Volt, measuring current: 1 mA
- Generation of high voltage, approval only after the button has been pressed, automatic discharging of high voltage after high-voltage insulation measurement
- Safety circuit for high voltage (automatic shutdown)
- Functional check with 2 LEDs
- Voltage supply via USB interface, 5 Volt/500 mA
- Interface: Rugged-USB 3.0 (for connecting to VAS 6150F)
- Electrical isolation from USB interface
- Calibration with VAS 5143A calibration unit

Software:
- VAS PC software (connection to Guided Fault Finding)
- Integration into “Offboard Diagnose Information System” with ASAM GDI driver.
